Tom Gates - Top of the Class

Tom Gates. Top of the class. Nearly.
The Author is L. Pichon and the Illustrator is L. Pichon.

Tom Gates says his tips for being top of the class:

Stay awake in lessons (it helps).
Don't draw hilarious pictures of your teachers.
Avoid the class bully to stay out of trouble.
Don't let Mum and Dad write anything in your school planner.
Don't let your grumpy sister, Delia, boss you around. (Technically not a school issue - but still important.)
I'm trying to get voted onto the school council as well - but thanks to the above list it's not exactly going to plan.

Read this funny new book in our library!!

There goes Abby and Jonah and this time they meet the little mermaid but this version  isn't your typical "Happily Ever After THE END" and does the little mermaid get her voice back in the original version? Also they have a lot of things to do:

  • Convince the Little Mermaid to keep her tail
  • Plan a Royal wedding
  • and simply avoid getting EATEN BY SHARKS!!!!!

In my opinion this book is  fun, sad, cool, and amazing, (and a bit weird and disgusting.)
